The Campus

Set in an attractive campus and conveniently located in Waziran, Cambridge International School - Kurdistan offers students a stimulating learning environment with a variety of features and facilities.

Sports and Outdoor Facilities

A separate, well-equipped, playing area is available for students from Kindergarten to Year 2.

ICT Facilities

The school has one ICT lab which has 31 computers available for students. All the computers are connected to the school’s network

Music and Art Facilities

One well-stocked art studio and a music studio provides students with a wide array of resources for artistic expression and exploration.

Library

The school has one well organized library.

Science Laboratory

The teaching emphasis for science is firmly placed on experimentation and investigation, using scientific skills,
processes and knowledge to solve problems. To support this approach, the school has 4 purpose built, fully equipped science laboratory. The labs are also fitted with interactive white boards.

Sports Hall

The multi-purpose sports hall is the main teaching space for the Physical Education Department. It is marked out and fitted with all the equipment needed to teach the usual array of sports.

Astroturfed Football Field

The school has a standard sized football pitch which is astroturfed. Interclass matches are conducted in this field.
The annual football tournament is also conducted in the field.

Medical Services

The School has one hygienic medical room, equipped to regulatory standards. The medical room is staffed by a full time Nurse. All cases of injury or illness receive immediate medical attention.

Transport

The school works closely to provide safe journey to our children. Air-conditioned buses operate throughout Erbil.

Book Store

Text-books, work-books and stationery are available at the school store in accordance with prescribed books for each class and subject options.

School Cafeteria

The school cafeteria is under construction. Temporarily breakfast and lunch is provided by a private food company. Hygiene and strict quality control of food are regarded as top priority.
